My name is Beth Lane. I am an actress-director-producer-writer. Feel free to check out my website www.bethlane.com and reel. As many of you know, I am nearing the end of my three-year Masters of Fine Arts program at UCLA. It has been an incredible adventure and I couldn’t be prouder!
March 2-10 I am playing Queen Elizabeth in our crisp, fresh, politically savvy production of Mary Stuart. Tickets can be purchased here or call 310-825-2101.
On April 17 at 1pm and 7pm, my UCLA classmates and I will be performing a capstone “Showcase” for industry professionals at The Geffen Playhouse. RSVP to Annette Lee here to attend.
June 6-9, I am playing Amanda in a deconstructed post-modern production of The Glass Menagerie – tickets can be purchased here or call 310-825-2101.
In other news... there will be the long-awaited screening of the web series I co-produced last Spring, Romeo & Julio, starring Susan Angelo, Oscar Fabela, Beth Lane and Dane Oliver directed by Lesley Elizondo.
Last, but certainly not least, I am very excited to announce my new feature length documentary, Worin, which is a tale about heroes. For two years, during the height of the Nazi regime, my mother, Ginger, along with her six siblings, were hidden on a farm outside of Berlin. In March I begin shooting in Jerusalem and in April, I will be thrilled to share the Trailer, and her story, with you all. More information coming soon.
Please bring your friends and colleagues and come to one, or several, of these events. As I prepare to leave the hallowed halls of UCLA and launch myself back into the real world, playing Queen Elizabeth in Mary Stuart is a personal bucket list item for me – I would love to share it with you!
